Port Chaplain
My interest
Each week I serve as a Chaplain for the Port of Houston at the Houston International Seafarer Center.
I board on average 4 ships a day. Container ships are frequent and the chemical ships are in and out the same day.
Once on board, I talk to many of the foreigners about their well being and their needs.
Prayer over the ship is a must and over all the sailors.
Bibles, Rosaries and Magazines are always welcome. This is a great ministry which needs much help.
Being a Knight Templar
Whether its at the Texas renaissance Fair or at a Church function, If there is a chance that I can put on the Templar garb, I'll do it. For those that see me, always ask me questions about my costume and it gives me an opportunity to share my faith and my convictions.
I am actually part of a Knights Templar order called the GPKTA.com (Grand Priory of the Knights Templar of America). Its a service group that helps the needy and support our brothers.
